Jennifer Hope, a 22-year-old young Scottish entrepreneur has developed a modular home with the help of her father, this modular home can be assembled in just three weeks for as little as £59,000.
The homes are constructed as modular timber units at their manufacturing base in Ayrshire and then transported to the customer’s plot of land for completion. The houses can be one bedroom or two.
This is called “Wee House”, and it’s ideal as a second building on a property for an elderly relative, holiday home or for downsizing, and it can be transported!
The prefabricated modular homes
The homes take five weeks to construct and three weeks to build
Living room: Unlike prefabs of yesteryear, the home is designed to last
Compact: A floor plan of a typical Wee House
I think it’s pretty convenient and economically affordable for many people, awesome idea!
