If you want to visit Bangladesh, you should choose your travelling day wisely. Because you don’t want to piling on top of already overcrowded trains and loading onto ferries that could tip at any moment!
Every year 3 million devotees arrive at Tongi on the banks of the river Turag, on the outskirts of Dhaka, for the Bishwa Ijtema or World Congregation – an annual Islamic congregation, and the second largest gathering of Muslims in the world after the Haj.
Apparently, there are no enough transportation to transport 3 million people in a safe way, just check out the pictures in below, you will know what I am talking about.
