People usually have a memorial meeting to honor the dead. And how about the animals? A Russian photographer would never let the dead animals gone just like they’ve never existed. Instead, she put the dead animals on the bed of flowers and pictured them as if they were dreaming. “I found these dead animals during bicycle rides to the sea in the summer. I wanted to find a way to save them for world of art. They were so unprotected…” That’s what she said. These photos of her are part of her project Nature Morta.
