Floating in the middle of the ocean seems exciting while also dangerous. And a safe way is to build an “ocean” in the land. Well, how? Don’t worry, here we’ll tell you that this is actually true. A swimming pool with half a mile long and 135 feet deep, that’s San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo which boasts the world’s largest swimming pool. I can’t even imagine how large it is. And I’ve already hated my own poor swimming poor in the backyard. See what’s it like, and check out how it is built. (Via: Viral Nova)
The pool opened in December 2006.
It currently holds the Guinness World Record for largest pool in the world by area.
That water seems charming.
