1. Mr. Fogg’s
Mr. Fogg’s in London is a decidedly whimsical step back in time to the Victorian era. The kookily overstuffed watering hole, named after the main character in Around the World in 80 Days, is also a royal hotspot, visited by Princess Eugenie of York and Pippa Middleton.
2. H.R. Giger Museum Bar
H.R. Giger fans, this one’s for you. The Swiss surrealist artist, best known for his Academy Award-winning visual effects work on Alien, has his own museum in his native country. As such, the museum’s bar is inspired by his otherworldly designs.
3. Imagine Punta Cana
Imagine Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic takes the drinking experience underground. More of a club than a straightforward bar, the space hosts concerts, raves and private parties inside huge caves.
4. Sunland Baobab
Walking by Sunland Baobab in South Africa, you might just think it’s a huge tree…
…But inside is a neatly stocked pub.

6. Icebar in Icehotel
Nestled in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi is Icebar. The bar is located in the Icehotel, which is made almost entirely of ice and snow. Getting a drink on the rocks has never been so literal.
7. The Glade by Sketch
Lush enough for a true lush, this London spot is designed to look like a magical woodland.
Then, if you want to be totally jarred, just head to the Glade’s bathrooms, made up of intensely white pods.
8. Lebua Sky Bar
Are you afraid of heights? If so, it might be best to avoid Thailand’s Sky Bar, one of the highestopen air bars in the world. Bartenders mix drinks 820 feet in the air, which is just over half the height of the Empire State Building.

All bright lights and futurism, a visit to NASA Pub in Bangalore is like bar-hopping in outer space.
11. Safe House
