This may be the biggest event of the year, though I am not really a fan of soccer, but still, I can’t miss this exciting opening ceremony! Jennifer Lopez performed with rapper Pitbull ahead of the group A match between Brazil and Croatia, which is the opening game of the 2014 tournament.
Thousands of fans turned out to the Arena de Sao Paulo in Brazil, and we all know how much Brazil loves soccer, it’s like a religion to them, while the protest were still serious, and some of the protester were arrested, but the cheering for soccer is going on.
And the Croatia went 1-0 ahead within the first 15 minutes thanks to an own goal by Brazil, which is really surprising for fans.
