Borrowing principles from the nature has been a golden rule for most architects. Recently a Japanese architect has designed a tower using the tree for inspiration. When seen from distance, it looks like a big white pinecone. But actually it is a 17-storey mixed-use tower named Arbre Blanc( or “white tree”).
The most special thing about this tower is that it gives residents here the maximum views and outdoor spaces by having balconies folding outwards in all directions. This could also avoid taking too much space on the ground. The building body is curved like a tree trunk with balconies extending out like leaves.
This amazing tower will be located at the Port Marianne district of Montpellier, France. To make a tip to those who may be interested, Montpellier is a great place to live in as well as a preferred vacation destination for many.
