These words are literally the nightmare of translators, they are really untranslatable, you cannot find a perfect word in English to capture the essence of the word’s meaning in another language. You can explain them, but you cannot translate them. But this has inspired New-Zealand based designer Anjana Lyer, who designed a project called” Found in Translation”, which try to explain the meaning behind words in other language that have no direct equivalent in English. This is charming and fascinating.
