People always think highly of motherhood, thinking that mother’s love is the greatest love in the world. However, the love from father is also as great as those from mother, except that fathers seldom express it vividly. Meet this father of two who has tried to record those special memories of his sons for his wife and himself. There is nothing strange that parents like to take pictures of their babies, but this father has turned his new hobby into a fully-fledged passion, and now he and his wife have a whole collection of the precious pictures of his sons. Meet the loving family, Wes Armson, the father of two, his beautiful wife, and Skyler, his two-year-old son, and Maddox, now five years old.
Now they live in Canada, and Wes began his hobby when his sons were babies.
“The thing that I most enjoy about photographing my own children is that the photos help me remember those moments and those feelings,” said the father.
The father also said that not only does photography offer him a chance to get closer to his sons, but it’s also a welcome escape from his day-to-day life as an engineer.
“When my sons were born my heart was fuller than I ever could have imaged,’ he said. ‘When they first smiled, had a little laugh, or had a sneeze the moment was so precious.”
“When my camera is on my neck, my whole outlook is different because my eyes and my brain are looking for beauty and blessing which are everywhere.”
Skyler and Maddox pose together. This is called Brotherly Love.
Early learning: Maddox channels his inner bookworm in a photo called A Little Light Reading.
This is called Super Maddox.
Skyler looks as though is floating into the sky in this shot called Lifted Away.
Skyler wears an assistant T-shirt as he poses next to a camera.
Maddox is wrapped up in a towel as he takes a nap on an orange chair.
As Maddox and Skyler get older, the father says he’s thankful that he and his wife have all his creative photographs to look back on.
“I try to take lots of the boys whenever we are out doing stuff or whenever my wife puts them in a cute outfit,” said the father.
“I’ll definitely miss photographing our kids as babies and toddlers,” said the proud father. “But I’m excited for all aspects of their lives, and I won’t miss changing diapers.”
Skyler looks cool in a car in this picture called They See Me Rolling…
In this sweet photo, Skyler sleeps with his head resting on Cat in the Hat.
